Wine, Women, & Crème de la Crème

It was my pleasure to host a cooking class for this neat group of ladies!  They chose my "Craving Spring" menu: Herb Roasted Chicken, Artichoke Cheese Squares, Spring Vegetable & Goat Cheese Tart, and Mason Jar Carrot Cake.  So, off we went!

Everyone should have a great roasted chicken recipe for a dinner party!  My version is simple and delicious.  I made the artichoke cheese squares ahead of time.  They taste great at room temperature -- a make ahead solution for entertaining.  Next we moved on to the spring vegetable and goat cheese tart.  It's fresh and lovely!

Mason jar carrot cake? Yes please!  Can't have a Crème de la Crème class without dessert.  That would be terrible :)

If you look closely below, you can see my homemade strawberry vodka in mason jars on the island.  Grown straight from the garden!

A great night with great friends!  It's a small world after all.
