Supper Club

It was Supper Club in the Crème kitchen.   This group kept me on my toes and I loved it!  On the menu: Rosemary Focaccia Bread with Herbed Dipping Oil, Pan Fried Provolone Salad, Individual Lasagnas, and Affogato.

I use sea salt flakes on this particular recipe.  I love the way they add a light saltiness to the crispy bread.  Next up -- Lasagna!  I use a combination of tomatoes to give the sauce its signature flavor.

I spy a volunteer!  This gentleman helped build the red sauce.

Repeat after me..."Red sauce, noodle, white sauce, cheese... .... ...."

You asked -- and yes, I do pre-cook my pasta!  But in all seriousness, I always recommend getting as much prep done in advance to take stress off yourself for dinner.

Can anyone really argue with fried cheese?  I mean...c'mon.  This salad has three components that make it shine:  (1) pan fried provolone, (2) candied tomatoes, and (3) a homemade vinaigrette.

And just like that, lasagna is served!  I make sure everyone signed the waiver for moments like these.  That lasagna is smoking hot but too irresistible to wait until it cools.

Cheers to a close group of friends!  Thank you for choosing Crème de la Crème for your Supper Club.  It was a pleasure having you in my kitchen.

Cheers! XOXO Paula
