Perfect Night For Take Out

It was another rainy night at Crème de la Crème.  How perfect for a "Take Out" inspired menu! This small group was such a delight. We truly had a wonderful evening discussing Le Creuset, cooking tips, and just talking about life.

First, we started on the Sweet & Spicy Crab Wonton Dip.  This dip is the best of both worlds! Imagine a yummy, fresh crab rangoon filling paired with lightly fried wonton chips.  It's dangerous!  I love it when my students dig in for seconds.

Next, we prepared the marinade for the chicken satay and let it sit.  It has a bit of fish sauce in it which can sometimes intimidate my students, but this group knew the amazing flavor power it contained.

One thing I love to do for my students is adjust recipes on the fly or offer alternatives to suit each individual's unique preferences.  Don't like heat?  I'll adjust the Sriracha.  Love green onions?  I'll add more.  It's easy to take notes during class so that you remember exactly how I made the recipe during class...and even where to find the ingredients!

The Thai Shrimp Fried Rice is so so easy.  I don't want anyone to be intimidated by it!  Simply prep your ingredients, grab your wok, and you will be eating within five minutes.

Last but certainly not least...we finished off the night by grilling our marinated Chicken Satay. Paired with the cucumber salad, it's the perfect combination!

Don't miss my workshop next Saturday!  I still have a few tickets left: click here. Until next week...Cheers! XOXO Paula
