"Preserving Summer’s Bounty"

Time: 2pm-4pm
Cost: $50 a person

This workshop will cover:

Anatomy of a Jar and Basic Canning Technique
Preserving by Pickling and learning how to "quick pickle"
Preserving Herbs
Jams and Conserves

Muffuletta, Herbed Vinegar and Sun Dried Tomato Pesto, Freezer Jam and Sweet Onion Conserve, Puff Pastry with Onion and Goat Cheese

Take Home
Take home your own freezer jam in an oilcloth wrapped mason jar.

Crème Workshops are 2 hours long and provide a more in-depth look into a specific cooking or baking technique.  These workshops hold up to 15 students and include a glass of wine, recipes, and a take-home souvenir.
