Viva La Mexico


Happy birthday to me!  Adrian and I managed to sneak away from the kids for a few blissful days in Mexico.  We left totally recharged -- and full of cooking inspiration!  I actually based my March menu around the concept of Street Tacos.  I'm bringing back all sorts of Mexican cooking secrets from Guacamole with Fresh Corn Chips to Sopapillas with Carjeta.

I thought I'd share some of my favorite meals and moments from the trip with you!

By the way, the dessert in Mexico is fabulous!  Chocolate Souffle, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Crème Brûlée, and Champagne -- I was truly spoiled.

I loved seeing the creative presentation these chefs poured into their dishes.  So inspiring!
