Dog Days on Lake Poinsett
As the summer winds down and kids are getting ready to go back to school, we tried to eek out one more weekend at the lake. And as usual, it did not disappoint! Weather was warm and the water was like glass. Perfect for paddle boards. Even Chompers had to partake in the beauty of the water!

Of course we had to break in the new sand volleyball court. Luckily none of us are very competitive.
Right.
Lots of grilling took place. Jake knows how to marinate a great chicken thigh for the grill. And our two minds?? It’s like we are peas in a pod. The most delicious dipping sauce. Skewers included!
And for dinner?? Look back at my Pasta Genovese blog... it’s become a staple at this house we love.
