Summer in my household, as a lot of you know, is spending time at our lake home on Lake Poinsett in South Dakota. It is my happy place— the place I go to unwind. Peace and water to wake up to every morning. We spend time fishing, boating, and huddling around the campfire in the evenings.

The Most Amazing Summertime Drink
Happy Saturday- blog day! I hope you all have been feverishly baking your Firecracker Forth of July poke cake in your kitchens from this weeks video release! Don’t forget to share pictures if you do ;) So now, let’s talk cocktails. My taste for cocktails seems to change with the seasons. My Autumn Sangria featured in the Creme Cookbook volume 2 is a favorite of mine in the Fall in front of a cozy fire. Get me a cheese plate and warm bread to go with it and I am in Sangria heaven!
