Not only were these fabulous festive cookies delicious, they looked the part as well! It was such a great experience having these girls in our kitchen, and so much better knowing they could take a fabulous recipe home for their family!

As an accompaniment to our main course, I decided to toast some baby potatoes with a slight and “spicy” spin! They came out crispy and delicious. Needless to say, there were no leftovers. The key is to make sure you are not overloading your cookie sheet— otherwise they will steam! So just get out that extra sheet pan and do a little extra washing that day. It will be SO worth it!

Italian Beef Cannelloni
Happy Blog Wednesday, Creme foodies! I hope everyone had a fabulous long Fourth of July weekend— and got some much needed time with friends and family ❤️Perhaps you made a Fourth of July Flag Cookie? Perhaps if you did you should send photos now! 😂🇺🇸A much needed front came through overnight, and it relieved us from the scorching hot weather we have been having lately. Much to my surprise, it brought on some fall-like hankerings for something warm and cozy to have for dinner! One of the things I tend to always keep in my pantry is a container or jar of Rao’s red sauce. You can get them almost anywhere now— I, of course, go to Costco!

Maya’s Fried Eggs in Chili Oil
Hello, once again! If you’ve been to my classes in the past, you know how hard I’ve tried (and still try!) to get my kids to work in the kitchen with me or on their own! My youngest daughter, Maya, is more and more making her own lunch or helping me prep for dinner, so I had to feature her latest creation! She’s always experimenting with my asian condiments and seasonings for her ramen, and now tried her hand at breakfast! She made this fried chili egg and I HAD to get my phone out for pictures! And simply cooking the egg in chili oil rather than cooking oil… incredible. She’s hired!
