Christmas at the Lakehouse

Most of you know what our little lake house means to me.

It sits very unassumingly at the northern tip of beautiful Lake Poinsett in South Dakota, the 2nd largest natural lake in the state. It is my happy place. It’s the place where we love to boat and fish in the summer and get cozy in the Winter. 

The one thing we do, no matter what the season, is is spend a lot of time in the kitchen! Creating dishes and treats that bring us all to the table every day. Everyone gets involved. It truly is the best.

We spent this Christmas weekend doing exactly that. Everything from a full and complete Czech meal (kolaches included!) to an easy breakfast sausage potato bowl.
