Pumpkin Pie Toppings

Ingredients: 

Pie Cutouts

1 Pie Crust

1-3 Tablespoons Sanding Sugar

Whipped Topping

2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream

2 Tablespoons Sugar

Sugared Cranberries

1 Bag of Cranberries

1 Cup of Sugar

½ Cup of Water

Instructions: 

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Dust your Pie Crust in Flour and roll it out, and using your cut-outs, make your Pie Garnishes!

Brush each Pie garnish with a light coat of Heavy Whipping Cream.

Top with your Sanding Sugar and place in the oven to bake for 7-10 minutes.

In a pot on medium heat, melt the Sugar and Water until your Sugar is dissolved, set your syrup aside to cool.

Once cooled, pour over the top of your Cranberries until evenly coated.

On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place a wire rack over the top and pour your coated Cranberries over the top.

Let these dry for an hour.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the rack and coat in another half cup of granulated Sugar to finish!

Place over the top of your Pumpkin Pies and Thanksgiving desserts.

In a big mixing bowl, add your Whipping Cream and Granulated Sugar and whip until stiff peaks.

Top your Pumpkin Pies with all of the above! Enjoy :)
