Mardi Gras King Cake

Ingredients:

Assorted Sugar Sprinkles in Green, Purple, and Gold

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Blocks of Philadelphia Cream Cheese

1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

2 Sleeves or 16 Rolls of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

3/4 Cup of Chopped Pecans

2 Cups Powdered Sugar

3/4 Cup Half and Half

Cooking Spray

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a bowl, beat together 2 room-temperature Blocks of Cream Cheese, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, and Vanilla Extract.

In a Sandwich bag, smash Chopped Pecans into fine pieces.

Add in your Pecans and beat together until your cream mixture is combined well.

Grease a pizza pan and lay out triangles, points in the center, making a round donut shape, slightly overlapping the one before it.

Add the Cream Cheese mixture in the center of the triangles.

Fold the tiny points in and then tuck and fold the outer edges to make one large circle.

In a mixing bowl, add Powdered Sugar and Half and Half.

Place in the oven at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove and let cool for 10 minutes.

Drizzle your Powdered Sugar Icing and sprinkle the Sugar over the top while the Icing is still wet.

Cut the Cake and place the plastic toy baby on the underside of the cake!
